Shop Hand-Paint Blending
Maelstrom Chemical is looking to add staff in the field of adhesive, sealant, coating and lubricants having available a variety of positions in Shelby Township. This position is for a Manufacturing Specialist but can lead to advancement to greater responsibilities, challenges and rewards. Specific Duties and Responsibilities may include:
o Manufacture of materials
o Learning and following detailed processes and procedures
o Repair and maintaining equipment
o Shipping and receiving
o Operation of equipment and forklift operation
o Packaging, labeling, boxing
o Maintenance of equipment and area
o Cleaning duties for shop and offices
Qualifications needed:
o Willing to accept and “own” responsibilities.
o High school graduate or greater.
o Basic Math and reading proficiency is necessary.
o Mechanical skills, plumbing and/or electrical skills are very important to this position.
o Must be trainable for forklift operation
o Lifting and moving containers of 50 pounds will be a daily requirement

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
