Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures in accordance with departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients to ensure optimal imaging outcomes and comfort
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining image quality standards
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns
- Maintain accurate patient records and complete required documentation
- Perform routine equipment quality checks and report any technical issues promptly
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and the wider clinical team
Requirements of the CT Technologist Role
- Current BLS certification
- Current ARRT certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols and radiation safety procedures
- Excellent communication, technical, and patient care skills
