Excellence After School (EASE) is seeking high-energy, creative, and passionate instructors to join our team for the upcoming school year! We are looking for talented individuals to lead our Musical Theater and Drama programs specifically tailored for young children (Preschool & Elementary levels).
Position Overview
- Drama & Musical Theatre: Lead young students through age-appropriate acting, singing, creative movement, and improvisation to build confidence, teamwork, and stage presence in a fun, supportive environment.
Job Details
- Term: Academic School Year (Fall – Spring)
- Job Type: Part-time, Contract
- Age Groups: Preschool and Elementary (Young Kids)
- Schedule: Weekday afternoons (most likely between 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM)
- Pay: $27.50 – $45.00 per hour (commensurate with experience)
- Location: In-person (Various school sites across Miami, FL)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Background: Strong training or performance experience in Musical Theater, Drama, or Vocal Performance.
- Experience: Prior experience teaching or working with young children (Preschool & Elementary) is highly preferred.
- Skills: Ability to lead high-energy, structured, and age-appropriate classes, maintain strong classroom management with early learners, and adapt activities to fit young age groups.
- Availability: Must have consistent weekday afternoon availability throughout the school year.
- Transportation: Must have reliable personal transportation to school locations in Miami.
- Background Check: Must pass or be eligible for background clearinghouse screening.
