Job Duties:
- Actively supervise and engage with students during classroom activities.
- Plan and implement lessons based on the provided curriculum to promote learning and development.
- Create and maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.
- Follow classroom schedules and routines to provide consistency for children.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their children's behavior and academic progress.
- Complete annual training requirements as set by Child Care Licensing.
- Drive a 14 passenger bus
- Participate in off site Field Trips
Requirements:
- Passion for working with children and enhancing their learning experiences.
- High school diploma (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Preschool/School Age teaching experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification required (can obtain upon hire).
- Completion of abuse and neglect training (can obtain upon hire).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build rapport with students and families.
- Patient and positive demeanor, with a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment.
