Overview
Russos New York Pizzeria is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced Italian Restaurant, providing excellent customer service while supporting daily restaurant operations. Ideal candidates will have a passion for the food industry , strong communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workspace. Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is preferred but not required, as paid training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Cook and assemble food items according to established recipes
- Prep and organize food upon weekly delivery.
- Manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Handle cash register operations, including processing cash and card transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, kitchen equipment, dining areas and bathrooms
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively-- Pizza Oven, Stove, Fryer, Dough Mixer
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and courteously
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast food restaurant environments preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and POS operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed; night shift and weekends
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
