Scope:
Our client is looking for a resource to act as a Project Manager in the Product Development department for Paints and Coatings with a strong design background to help manage a few different projects from start to finish. Our consultant will work alongside other functional partners on these projects. They will coordinate with the suppliers, the studio who is doing the design, cosmetic review / design review, as well as testing. They will need to have technical knowledge of design and testing to be a fit (DFMEA, DVP&R).
They use CREO for their design tool, but this is not a CAD Design Role. They will open drawings in their Windchill PLM to review so need to be able to navigate and review drawings do not create them. There are lots of moving parts to this role, so the right candidate needs to be detail oriented and a team player who is willing to ask questions and collaborate with the team.

Design experience
Complexity management / detail oriented
Degreed
Pluses:
Automotive experience - willing to look at other industries
Paint and Coatings Experience - not on an island and if organized it may not be a deal breaker
Focus on any finishing or cosmetic parts experience
LOCAL - willing to pay Per Diem for the perfect candidate but preference on local / regional
Pay: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
