RN or LPN License & Supportive Living Experience Required
This is a regional multi-community leadership role requiring daily travel throughout Central and Southern Illinois. This is not a remote position, and occasional extended travel may be required.

We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Director of Operations and Wellness Services to provide clinical and operational leadership across a regional portfolio of supportive living communities.
About the Role
This key leadership position is ideal for an experienced RN or LPN with a strong background in supportive living, senior care operations, and multi-site leadership. The Director of Operations and Wellness Services will partner closely with Executive Directors, Wellness Directors, and community leadership teams to ensure exceptional resident care, regulatory compliance, staff support, and operational success across multiple communities.
The ideal candidate is compassionate, highly organized, operationally focused, and comfortable traveling frequently to provide hands-on leadership and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational oversight to Wellness Directors and community leadership teams across multiple supportive living communities
- Support and monitor compliance with all IDPH and supportive living regulations
- Assist communities with resident care oversight, quality assurance, and clinical best practices
- Monitor resident wellness outcomes and support accurate documentation and care planning
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and leadership development to community teams
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support resident satisfaction and overall community success
- Assist with staffing support, operational challenges, surveys, and performance improvement initiatives
- Travel regularly between communities to provide on-site leadership and support
Minimum Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in the State of Illinois
- Previous leadership experience in supportive living, assisted living, long-term care, or senior living operations
- Strong understanding of supportive living regulations and compliance standards
- Ability to travel frequently throughout Central and Southern Illinois
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and communities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Executive Director, Director of Nursing, Wellness Director, or Regional Nurse Consultant
- Multi-site leadership experience preferred
- Experience supporting IDPH surveys and regulatory compliance processes
- Proven ability to mentor teams and improve operational performance

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
