Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Home Helpers, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to ensure each client receives the personalized care they need to thrive. Whether you work alongside other caregivers or independently, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those you serve.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.

Help with medication reminders and light housekeeping tasks.

Support clients in engaging in social activities

Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and address any specific care needs.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- A compassionate and patient demeanor to provide high-quality care.

Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English.

Ability to follow care plans and work independently.

Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus.

Reliability and punctuality to ensure clients receive care as scheduled.
Bonus If You:
- Have a background in personal care assistance or home health care.

Possess training in specialized care techniques or dementia care.

Have experience with emptying ostomy bags
Employment Type & Availability:
This is a Full-Time position available seven days a week working 12-hour shifts 3 or 4 days a week from either 7am-7pm or 8am-8pm.
Location:
This position is on-site only in Toluca, Illinois.
