ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Obtain and document patient vitals.

Perform bedside testing.

Perform basic nursing procedures such as oral care, perineal/foley care, non-sterile soaks, or thermal applications.

Ensure cleanliness of office and examination rooms.

Clean and store equipment.

Maintain supply inventory and re-stock as required.

Perform basic clerical duties as needed.

Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care.

ENVIROMENTAL CONDITIONS: Work environment consists of daily patient contact, which may include exposure to blood, or other body fluids.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education – High school diploma or equivalent; plus specialized, short-term training in basic patient care.

Work Experience – clinic setting preferred.

Training – Formal nursing assistant and/or medical assistant training required.

License/Certification – Certification in Nurse Assisting or Certification in Medical Assisting preferred
