Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting products, explaining features, and answering questions about merchandise or financial services
- Process sales transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
- Manage cash register operations, including cash management and balancing drawers at shift end
- Support loan processing procedures by verifying customer information and completing necessary documentation
- Maintain knowledge of retail sales techniques, banking products, and financial software to effectively serve customers
- Uphold store standards by organizing merchandise displays and ensuring the cleanliness of the sales area
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales or customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Basic math skills including retail math, cash handling, and 10-key typing proficiency are necessary for accurate transactions
- Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances ability to assist with loan processing and financial inquiries
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with diverse customers and team members
- Experience with financial software systems is a plus but training will be provided
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
