About the Role

As a Precision Machinist, you will leverage your expertise in CNC and manual machining to ensure that every part meets rigorous engineering standards for high-stakes industrial applications.
Responsibilities-
Execute complex machining sequences on large-scale components using CNC and manual lathes, mills, and precision grinders.

Translate intricate blueprints and engineering specifications into high-precision finished parts.

Optimize production efficiency by selecting appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds for diverse metal alloys.

Perform detailed layout work and shop math to ensure accurate material preparation and component alignment.

Utilize advanced precision measuring tools, such as micrometers and indicators, to verify that parts meet exacting tolerance requirements.

Assemble and fit precision mechanical components into larger assemblies to support overall system integrity.

Troubleshoot and adjust NC programs to maintain optimal machine performance and output quality.

Maintain a culture of safety and precision by adhering to strict quality control and statistical process standards.
Qualifications-
High school diploma or equivalent combined with 5+ years of relevant industrial machining experience.

Demonstrated proficiency in operating both CNC and manual machine tools.

Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings and engineering specifications.

Experience maintaining tight tolerances within heavy manufacturing, aerospace, or similar industrial sectors.

Completion of a formal machining apprenticeship or an Associate’s Degree in a related technical discipline.

3+ years of specialized experience for candidates with formal trade education.

Strong background in statistical process control and quality assurance methodologies.
