Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher/Food Prep team member to join our team in a dynamic kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized., participate in the preparation and receiving of all food and deliveries. This position is essential for supporting our food service operations, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Operate dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the dishwashing area and kitchen by regularly cleaning surfaces and floors.
- Assist in food preparation, including receiving deliveries and helping cooks with basic tasks.
- Ensure that all kitchen supplies are stocked and organized for optimal workflow.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a sanitary work environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support during busy periods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a hotel, banquet, or restaurant setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks beyond dishwashing as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when required.
