Overview:
Piedmont Newnan Cath Lab Tech
Full Time Status
Responsibilities: Assists the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures. Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintenance of it and administers direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Able to provide direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures. Qualifications:
Education-
Graduate of an accredited a RCIS program Required or
-
Graduate of an accredited program in nursing, respiratory, paramedic, imaging, or exercise physiology. Required
Work Experience-
1 year Healthcare Imaging, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, Respiratory, or RN experience Required or
-
No experience required if a graduate of an RCIS program Required
Licenses and Certifications-
Based on healthcare experience (see above), applicable license. Upon Hire Required and
-
RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist If a graduate of RCIS program RCIS within 2 Years Required or
-
RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Upon Hire Required or
-
RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist Upon Hire Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and

ACLS Upon Hire Required
