Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to support the installation, maintenance, programming, and service of access control and CCTV systems. This hands-on role involves ensuring high-quality security system deployment while maintaining strong safety, service, and customer satisfaction standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and service security systems including access control and CCTV.
- Work closely with clients, architects, and engineers to understand project requirements and ensure proper implementation.
- Develop and execute work plans for installation and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with security systems.
- Follow safety codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Assist with project documentation, time tracking, and reporting.
- Perform site evaluations and functional testing of installed systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate updates to project stakeholders.
- Support project teams throughout the installation and service lifecycle.
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience with security system installation, programming, and service.
- Experience working with access control and CCTV systems.
- Relevant technical education or certifications in electronics or security systems preferred.
- Certifications in platforms such as Lenel, Genetec, Software House, Milestone, or Avigilon are a strong plus.
- Data center experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to manage technical workflow and installation tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable performing physical installation and maintenance work on job sites.

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
