Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Mechanic to join our dynamic industrial maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment within a manufacturing facility. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and efficiency across our operations. Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on machinery and equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems, hydraulic circuits, pneumatic systems, and mechanical components to identify root causes of issues.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics including reading electrical blueprints, schematics, and troubleshooting low and high voltage systems.
- Repair or replace defective parts such as motors, sensors, switches, valves, and wiring using welding (including welding techniques), and other mechanical skills.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory management.
- Operate specialized equipment such as scissor lifts for access during maintenance tasks safely.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to analyze equipment performance data and implement improvements for industrial mechanic efficiency.
Skills
- Extensive experience in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance procedures.
- Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including electrical system diagnostics and electrical maintenance practices.
- Skilled in hydraulics, pneumatics troubleshooting, and the use of precision measuring instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, HVAC maintenance, and HVAC troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently.

Pay: $27.65 - $33.30 per hour
