The pay is based on the assessments completed on a percentage basis and depends also on insurance reimburshment.
At Positive Path PLLC, we’re looking for a thoughtful and skilled Assessment Specialist to join our clinical family in Frisco, Texas.

Role Overview
In this role, you’ll be the guiding hand through the diagnostic process for a variety of clients. This means you’ll be doing it all from the initial clinical interviews and picking the right assessment batteries to interpreting the data and writing up the kind of high-quality reports that really make a difference in a client’s life.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic clinical interviews with children, adolescents, and adults.
- Administer and score a wide range of standardized psychological and neurocognitive assessments (e.g., IQ, achievement, ADHD, personality, and diagnostic-specific tools).
- Synthesize complex data from multiple sources to provide clear diagnostic impressions.
- Write thorough, professional, and timely diagnostic reports that offer clear recommendations for treatment and accommodations.
- Provide feedback sessions to clients and/or families to explain results and support their next steps in care.
Requirements
- Licensure: Must hold full, unrestricted licensure in the state of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), Psy.D., or Ph.D.
- Education: Master’s degree or Doctorate in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited university.
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise and formal training in psychological test administration, scoring, and interpretation is required.
- Clinical Skills: Strong writing skills and the ability to communicate complex clinical findings in an accessible manner.
