Technician Trainee

Full-Time Job Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.
Qualifications:
- Tech Trainee License
- Billingual English/Vietnamese
Responsibilities:
- Receives, verifies, processes, and fills the prescriptions for patients
- Dispenses correct drug into the appropriately sized container, labels container and prepares it for pharmacist verification
- Demonstrates competency of all computer systems and applications used in the area
- Processes payment method correctly through insurance payer and the cash register
- Maintains assigned sections monthly by checking expiration dates, stocking and cleaning shelves
- Maintains pharmacy’s safety by adhering to all provided training, and remaining in compliance with pharmacy policies and procedures
- Communicates with patients, other staff members, and pharmacists in a professional and respectful way
- Other duties as assigned

- Assist pharmacists in all responsibilities except those that require a judgment call by a Pharmacist.
- Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including robbery, theft, or fraud.

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:
- Texas Board of Pharmacy Trainee License in good standing (Required)
