Job Summary
We're looking for a motivated Entry-Level Auto Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate of an automotive technology program who's ready to apply classroom and hands-on training in a real shop environment. You'll work alongside experienced technicians who will mentor you as you build your skills diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining fleet vehicle systems. Responsibilities
- Assist with and, over time, independently perform diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across engines, electrical systems, and transmissions.
- Learn to repair and service powertrain components such as engines, transmissions, and drive axles under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignment adjustments to keep fleet vehicles road-ready.
- Develop skills in reading automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely, with training provided on proper technique and heavy-lifting protocols.
- Follow all shop safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Maintain accurate service and repair records to support fleet maintenance scheduling and compliance.
- Communicate professionally with senior staff and supervisors regarding repair status and timelines.
Requirements
- Completion of (or upcoming graduation from) an accredited automotive technology program, or equivalent hands-on training/certification.
- Basic understanding of automotive engine, electrical, and maintenance systems.
- Willingness to learn ADAS technology, wiring diagram interpretation, and diagnostic equipment — no prior professional experience required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using standard hand and power tools.
- Physical ability to handle lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Eagerness to learn, take direction, and grow within a team-based, mentorship-driven environment.
- A valid driver's license (add any other basics, e.g. own basic tool set, as applicable).

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
