Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
Position Summary
Family Walk-In Clinic is seeking an experienced, compassionate, motivated Family Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive primary care and same-day walk-in services for patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care while working collaboratively with a team dedicated to clinical excellence and outstanding customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Colorado APRN license in good standing
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C or FNP-BC)
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to employment)
- Current BLS certification
- Eligible for credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance plans
- Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and documentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced primary care and walk-in environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in primary care, family practice, urgent care, or walk-in medicine
- DOT Medical Examiner Certification or willingness to obtain certification within the first six months of employment
- Experience performing common office procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and splinting
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
- Perform preventive health examinations and wellness visits
- Order, interpret, and manage laboratory, imaging, and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans
- Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic medical records
- Educate patients regarding disease prevention, treatment options, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate effectively with medical assistants, reception staff, and fellow providers to ensure efficient patient flow
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism, compassion, and respect for every patient

- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use computers and electronic medical record systems throughout the workday
Pay: $108,000.00 - $149,000.00 per year
