UTICA , SYRACUSE NY AND SURROUNDING AREA: MacDonough Excavating, An Excavating Contractor and trucking company is now hiring CDL Drivers for local Commercial projects! We have plenty of growth opportunities and are looking for quality, driven and positive minded people to bring onto our team!
-CDL drivers A and B: Must be able to pass drug screen and background check. Must have valid NYS drivers license and dependable transportation. Driver must have good driving record to drive company truck. Pleanty of overtime if you want it. Home every night. Must have 1 year of experience of dump truck, dump trailer and lowboy.
Job Type: Full-time /Part-time Hourly: $28.00 to $55.00 hourly based off of experience. NYS Prevailing wage on some jobs.
Depending on Full-time/ Part-time status: Pension/Simple IRA with up to 3% Match, Health care, sick days, paid holidays and paid vacations(waiting period applies).
Required experience: You must be capable of driving a standard transmission for tri-axle dump truck, tractor is automatic that pulls end dump trailers and low boy. Asphalt hauling and millings experience a plus.
Required License: CDL A or B
Sign on bonus with criteria applies: Must work full month to receive a % of total bonus being offered. Bonus being offered would depend on experience and will be discussed during interview.
Required Education:
- Central New York Required license or certification: CDL Driver's License required, OSHA and SWPP cards are helpful but not mandatory
