DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE A HIGH ROOF CARGO OR SPRINTER VAN/12-16ft BOXTRUCK- ROUTES AVLIABLE IN WEST PALM BEACH AS WELL) APPLY NOW
Responsibilities
- Pick up office supplies from warehouse and plan efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Safely load, unload, and handle packages with care during transit
- Communicate proactively with customers to confirm delivery times and address any questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and obtain necessary signatures or proof of delivery
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations to ensure secure transportation at all times
- Use GPS devices or mapping software to navigate routes effectively
- Report any delivery issues or delays promptly to support team coordination
- ON AVERAGE 35-55 STOPS A DAY(60-150 AVG MILES PER DAY)$1.80-$2.20 PER PIECE * NUMBER OF PIECES VARY STOP TO STOP
- ROUTES AVERAGE DAILY $200-$300+ DEPENDING ON NUMBER OF PIECES DELIVERED
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in a customer service role with similar fast-paced environments
- Strong knowledge of local streets and navigation tools
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs, A DOLLY WILL BE NEEDED
- Reliable transportation that meets safety standards and insurance requirements
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and attention to detail
