Administrative Assistant
Position Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Administrative Assistant will provide full administrative assistance including preparing documents and presentation material, screening and responding to incoming correspondence, inquiries and phone calls, drafting letters and official information releases, arranging and attending meetings, taking and distributing minutes.
Performance Expectations:
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail.
· Update phone directory for location.
· Greet visitors and direct them to appropriate party.
· Order office supplies and coordinate cleaning company.
· Schedule meetings and conferences and provide e-mail & voice mail.
· Prepares correspondence, presentations, reports, minutes and related material.
· Assist with scheduling hotel rooms/bookings for customer and Management visits, large training meetings that are onsite in West Chicago.
· Prepare announcements for anniversaries and birthdays.
· Assist with new hire and termination Cobra notifications.
· Updated employee bulletin boards.
· Assist with health and safety walks.
· Assist with new hire packets and presentation.
· Update the Omnilert emergency system.
· Assist with employee service awards.
· Assist with Vending machine management.
· Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
Credentials:
- 2 years of experience in administrative capacity is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience

- Strong organization, planning, multi-tasking, and time management skills with the ability to make decisions and prioritize work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all employees.
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment (quick to learn and adapt) with challenging and changing deadlines.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
