Over the last twenty-years, business after business has disappeared out of Rhode Island.
While its easy to remember the highly visable companies including Hasbro, Benny’s, and numerous smaller businesses that have disappeared (AT Cross, Ennovi, Sperion (Honeywell), Matrix, etc) or simply closed. In the last twenty years, we have seen over one hundred thousand good paying positions that offered growth potential disappear.
There are a variety of reasons for business closing or leaving the state, including high taxes, high cost of electricity and gas, public schools that are more interested graduation numbers than teaching kids to think and grow.
It isn’t one thing that pushes good businesses to leave, it’s a multitude of reasons combined.
Some businesses like to swim against the tide. We like a challenge, and we are looking for one (1) exceptionally technical individual to join us on this journey.
