We are currently seeking a skilled, reliable Assistant Director of Facility Maintenance to join our team at The Blake at Carnes Crossroads. This role is ideal for a maintenance professional who takes pride in creating clean, safe, well-maintained environments and enjoys supporting both residents and team members.

Primary Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Facility Maintenance
- Support the Director of Facility Management by following the preventative maintenance program
- Complete routine maintenance tasks, including paint touchups, grounds readiness, building walkthroughs, lighting checks, gutter clearing, pathway safety assessments, and removal of trash and debris
- Manage time effectively and complete assignments within established company time frames
- Help ensure buildings and grounds are clean, attractive, and well-maintained for residents, families, visitors, and prospects
- Maintain accurate documentation for all systems and equipment, including:
- Fire sprinkler system
- Fire extinguishers
- Fire monitoring system
- Kitchen hood cleaning
- Elevator inspections
- Boiler permits
- Nurse call system
- Emergency backup generator
- Company vehicles
- HVAC and PTAC units
- Assist new residents and their families with move-in and discharge support
- Promote a safe, orderly environment that aligns with QSL Management standards
Requirements
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards
- Construction or building repair experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- A caring heart and willingness to serve seniors
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
