Day Shift Janitor / Building Operations Associate (BOA)-Multiple Openings
Position Summary
The Day Shift Janitor / Building Operations Associate (BOA) is responsible for the overall cleanliness, maintenance, safety, security, and daily operation of assigned District facilities. This position performs custodial duties, preventative and minor maintenance tasks, facility inspections, grounds support, and assists with ensuring that all facilities are safe, clean, functional, and prepared for students, staff, and visitors.
The BOA works closely with the Facilities Manager, Director of Facilities, Custodial Supervisor, contractors, and District staff to maintain a high standard of facility operations and customer service.
Schedule:
The shift hours range depending on the building, but the hours are day shift starting early morning, Monday through Friday during the school year, then during the summer hours shift to 10 hour days Monday - Thursday.
40 hours per week
Pay: $17-$18

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Emptying trash
- Sweeping & mopping floors
- Vacuuming carpet
- Cleaning classrooms
- Dusting
- Other general janitorial duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation or be within walking distance.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check.
