Lead/Asst. Teacher at Good Shepherd Christian Preschool in Chino Hills, CA.
Must have 12 units of ECE from accredited institutions.
Responsibilities
- Implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Be able to lead prayers, share Bible stories, and attend worship once a week.
- Support children's learning through hands-on engagement and encouragement.
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and inclusivity..
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff regarding children's progress.
- Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong behavior management skills to foster a positive learning environment.
- Ability to provide compassionate care for children of varying abilities.
- Familiarity with Montessori methods or special education strategies is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children and adults.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
