Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Financial Accountant to join our accounting team. This support role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and compliance within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage general ledger accounting and journal entries
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations
- Support audits (internal and external) and tax filings
- Identify process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency
- Coordinate with HR benefit concerns
- Collaborate with team members for financial insights
- Assist with payroll and payment of vendors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 2 years practical experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP) and MS Excel
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organization skills
