Caring Life Services is seeking an attentive and trustworthy caregiver to join our team at in providing excellent care to our clients.
The caregiver will follow a daily care schedule with clients, report on any new conditions or needs that may arise. Assist with all ADL's and IADL's.
To succeed as a caregiver you should be patient, empathetic, and have strong people skills. You should be observant and committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.
Hours are:
Male client who has SEVERE allergies to all added perfumes and laundry detergents. No pets in the home. Working on his preferred schedule.
HENRYVILLE - Female who is bed bound. Will be trained. Very sweet and needs reliable and compassionate team to aid with Monday through Friday 7am to 3pm.
MOUNT POCONO - Female client who needs 7 days a week coverage with split shifts 8am to 2pm and then again 4pm to 8pm. Very verbal and quite fun. She is non mobile from the waist down but can move arms and aid with sitting up.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Mobility
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
- Assist with toileting
- Assist with all ADL's
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- PA Valid Driver’s License/PA ID – No out of state ID’s
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- TB test prior to working with clients
- Must be at least 21 years or older
