Floating Chef Manager – Corporate Dining (Full-Time, Exempt)
Location: North Shore, MA
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Early Mornings/Afternoons | No Nights or Weekends
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced and adaptable Floating Chef Manager to support multiple cafes across corporate dining locations. In this role, you’ll step in to lead daily café operations where needed – ensuring seamless service, high-quality food, and a positive team culture across sites.
This position is ideal for a hands-on culinary leader who enjoys variety, teamwork, and travel within a set region – all while maintaining work-life balance with no late nights or weekends.
What You’ll Do

Lead and support cafe teams across multiple client locations, stepping in where coverage or transition support is needed

Maintain consistency in food quality, service standards, and guest experience across sites

Train, mentor, and motivate team members to foster a positive and service-driven culture

Plan menus, develop specials, and ensure fresh, appealing, high-quality food offerings

Manage food cost, production planning, ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships at each assigned location

Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards

Build strong relationships with clients, guests, and team members

Ensure smooth day-to-day café operations, guest experience, and brand standards
What We’re Looking For

Strong background in culinary leadership (Chef, Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or similar)

Experience in corporate dining, healthcare, higher Ed, hospitality, or restaurant management preferred

Passion for team development and a positive, encouraging leadership style

Ability to balance hands-on cooking with administrative and leadership responsibilities

ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain)
