Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembler to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic and mechanical components with precision and efficiency. Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, including PCB (Printed Circuit Board) assemblies, using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Follow detailed schematics, technical drawings, and IPC 610 standards to ensure accurate assembly and soldering of components
- Utilize surface mount technology (SMT) techniques for precise placement of small electronic parts on PCBs
- Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to assist in automated assembly processes when required
- Conduct electrical wiring and soldering tasks to connect components securely and reliably
- Use calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement tools to verify component dimensions and electrical integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in assembly, machining, and electrical wiring
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding electrical diagrams
- Skilled in soldering techniques in accordance with IPC 610 standards
- Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes
- Experience working with PCB components, including surface-mounted devices (SMDs) and through-hole parts
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and other measurement devices accurately
- Knowledge of manufacturing best practices and quality control procedures related to electrical and mechanical assembly
- Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a commitment to safety
