RV Technician – Entry-Level & Experienced

Position Overview: Entry-Level RV Technician
No RV experience? No problem. If you have mechanical aptitude, enjoy working with your hands, and are willing to learn, we'll provide hands-on training and guidance to help you develop your RV service skills.
As an Entry-Level RV Technician, you will work alongside experienced technicians while learning how to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair RV systems. This position offers an opportunity to build a valuable skill set and advance within the RV service industry.
Experienced RV Technicians will have the opportunity to utilize their knowledge and skills while working on a wide variety of RV systems and repairs.
You will be responsible for diagnosing problems, determining appropriate repairs, completing quality workmanship, and communicating with the service team regarding the status of each repair. Experienced technicians will also help mentor and support less-experienced technicians as they develop their skills.
Responsibilities: All Technicians
- Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on recreational vehicles.
- Follow established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Use tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop equipment properly and safely.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair needs, job status, and parts or materials.
- Document work performed accurately on customer repair orders.
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Provide professional service that reflects positively on Nash RV Service and our customers.
Entry-Level RV Technician
- Work alongside experienced technicians to learn RV repair and maintenance procedures.
- Assist with basic repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other RV systems.
- Develop proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and shop equipment.
- Follow instructions and ask questions when additional guidance is needed.
- Progress toward independently performing increasingly complex repairs as skills and experience develop.
Experienced RV Technician
- Independently diagnose and repair a variety of RV systems and components.
- Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural issues.
- Accurately determine the cause of problems and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Use diagnostic equipment and technical resources to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Provide guidance and support to Entry-Level Technicians.
- Keep customer repair orders updated with job status, repairs performed, and parts/materials used.
- Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings to the appropriate team member.
QualificationsEntry-Level RV Technician
- No prior RV experience required.
- Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Experience in construction, maintenance, automotive, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other mechanical trades is a plus.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools or willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Dependable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Experienced RV Technician
- Previous experience as an RV Technician or in a related mechanical/service field.
- Strong knowledge of RV electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and structural systems.
- Ability to independently diagnose and troubleshoot repair issues.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined or awkward spaces.
- Ability to safely lift and maneuver tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of RV repair and maintenance.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay based on experience
