Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist – Contract Position
Young Consulting Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate PRN Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evidence-based, in-home therapy for medically complex infants and young children. This role emphasizes providing assistive technology and feeding and swallowing support, educating parents, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.
Young Consulting Group comprises a team of allied health professionals - physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists - committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based pediatric care for medically complex patients in the Las Vegas valley. We regularly collaborate with specialists locally and in neighboring states to ensure families receive essential care for NICU graduates, toddlers, and school-aged children. Our therapists focus on addressing family needs and enhancing the functional abilities of our young patients.
Schedule: PRN | Monday–Saturday - Flexible Schedule
Pay Rate: $90-100 per visit
Location: Las Vegas area (travel required)
Caseload Focus
- Medically complex infants and young children
- NICU graduates and children with complex medical histories
- Speech and language delays
- Feeding and swallowing disorders
- Developmental and neuromotor challenges

What You’ll Do
- Complete initial evaluations and re-evaluations using pediatric-appropriate assessment tools
- Develop and implement individualized speech, language, and feeding therapy plans
- Address oral motor, feeding, swallowing, and communication needs
- Interpret evaluation data and prepare comprehensive, strengths-based reports
- Coach and educate parents and caregivers to support carryover in daily routines
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and case conferences
- Monitor, document, and communicate patient progress in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
What We’re Looking For
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification required
- Active Nevada Speech-Language Pathology license
- CPR & First Aid certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with pediatric populations, feeding therapy, or early intervention preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and family-centered care skills
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable with floor-based pediatric therapy and positioning support
- Ability to travel within the service area
- Comfortable working in varied home environments and weather conditions
