The Cobblestone Cottage is a cute, family-owned English Tea House looking for a reliable kitchen assistant. You will help make and bake our menu items alongside staff and Chef. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions well is a key skill for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and peeling ingredients
- Help with cooking and baking tasks as directed by Chef
- Vegan and Gluten Free experience is a plus
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
- Assist in receiving and storing food supplies and ingredients safely and securely
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper handling of food
- Clean up task at the end of the day consists of sweeping, mopping, wiping down counters, and/or washing dishes
- Help bus tables as needed
