MATERIAL HANDLER
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable and safety-oriented Material Handler to join our team at the Archbold plant, which specializes in the manufacturing of scaffolding products. This role is essential to the efficient operation of our Production Assembly and Paint Line departments, ensuring the timely movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering component parts to designated production lines or cells, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall production flow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide material handling support for both the paint line and assembly area
- Pull and deliver component parts for scaffolding jobs to the appropriate production line or cell
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy
- Document and report any damaged products
- Support and maintain 5S standards throughout the facility
- Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment
Job Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently without restrictions
- Must pass forklift certification and operate a forklift daily
- Basic computer literacy required; experience with Epicor preferred
- Excellent attendance record
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions as needed
- Prior forklift experience is required
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $19.00
