Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface cleaning across various residential spaces.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure hygienic living environments.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens with care.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface sanitation.
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or appliances while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain organized cleaning schedules, manage time efficiently to complete tasks promptly, and ensure all areas meet quality standards.
Experience
- Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and the use of various cleaning equipment.
- Experience with laundry services and outdoor work is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, sanitation practices, and janitorial procedures to uphold hygiene standards.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous roles in hotel housekeeping or custodial positions can provide valuable relevant experience.
