Responsibilities
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs across various locations
- Communicate clearly with customers to confirm deliveries, answer questions, and provide exceptional service
- Utilize route navigation tools and maps to optimize delivery paths and improve efficiency
- Handle heavy lifting of packages or merchandise with proper technique to prevent injury
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including receipts, invoices, and delivery logs
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial driving or delivery roles preferred
- Strong math skills for inventory checks
- Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and merchandising practices is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries
- Organizational skills for managing multiple deliveries within tight timeframes
