Responsibilities
- Lead daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food preparation and timely service in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee food quality control, presentation standards, and adherence to recipes to deliver consistent dining experiences.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Supervise staff training and development, including onboarding new team members and conducting ongoing skill enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, labor scheduling, and shift management to maximize operational efficiency.
- Utilize POS systems such for order processing.
- Support catering events, banquet services, or bar operations as needed to provide comprehensive hospitality experiences.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, coaching, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain a focus on customer service excellence by addressing guest feedback promptly and professionally.
Experience
- Proven culinary experience in quick service or fast food restaurant settings with a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Supervising or management experience within the food industry or hospitality management roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for sales transactions and inventory management.
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments with a focus on food quality and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and certifications required by local health authorities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in staff training, team management, and shift supervision.
