The Maintenance Technician is responsible for trouble shooting all mechanical issues, establish root causes
and perform required maintenance and repairs on all equipment within the plant. This role will plan, implement and perform required corrective actions to ensure plant equipment is optimally functioning.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Carry out repairs to all types of equipment and facilities in a safe, timely and professional manner
Troubleshoot defective equipment in order to isolate causes and make repairs
Follow instructions given by Maintenance supervisor on shift
Complete daily walk through inspections on equipment in assigned area
Complete run time and down time PM’s on equipment in assigned areas
Track time through work order completion
Assist with troubleshooting production process issues as needed
Keep all work areas clean and tidy – including tools & tool box
Update supervision, staff and operators, both verbally and via written reports, on the status of equipment maintenance issues
Promote a team environment
Work in a safety-first manner while adhering to all LOTO, Arc Flash, Confined Space and Environmental policies
Respond to internal & external customers in a timely manner
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associate degree in a maintenance or technical field preferred
Years of Experience:
2 Years of experience in industrial maintenance Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license required for business travel
Demonstrated knowledge of Robotic programming is preferred but not required
Knowledge of PLC logic troubleshooting is preferred but not required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Regular and predictable attendance required
Work beyond the traditional 40 hours per week may be required as work load or projects dictate, including weekends and holidays
KEY COMPETENCIES
Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Hands-on approach to problem solving and analysis

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
Ability to work independently and in a team environment to effectively address and resolve all maintenance issues
