Job Summary
H&B Properties LP is seeking a motivated and results-driven Acquisition Manager to join our growing team. This role is focused on acquiring land and residential properties by managing leads provided by the company, evaluating opportunities, negotiating with property owners, and successfully closing acquisitions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced negotiator with a strong understanding of real estate transactions and a proven ability to build relationships and close deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on company-provided acquisition leads.
- Contact property owners and build rapport through phone, email, and in-person meetings.
- Evaluate land and residential property acquisition opportunities.
- Conduct preliminary due diligence on prospective acquisitions.
- Negotiate purchase terms and contracts with property owners.
- Coordinate with internal teams, legal counsel, and other stakeholders throughout the acquisition process.
- Maintain accurate records of all lead activity and transaction progress within the CRM.
- Meet or exceed acquisition and closing targets.
- Stay informed on local market trends and property values.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, sales, or a related field.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Experience working with land and residential property transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation (if required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of real estate contracts, due diligence, and closing processes.
- Experience sourcing or managing acquisition pipelines.
- Existing knowledge of local real estate markets is an asset.
