We’re looking for a reliable, skilled Painter to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship, communicates well while also handling hands‑on labor. You’ll work on residential and commercial projects throughout the Southeast Michigan area, ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to our high quality standards.

Responsibilities
- Prep, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding and booms safely to reach high or difficult areas during painting or carpentry tasks.
- Perform drywall repairs, patching, caulking, and surface finishing
- Install fixtures such as cabinetry, trim, moldings, and other remodeling components with precision.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with clients and team members
- Load/unload materials and assist with general labor tasks – job will require heavy lifting as needed
- Follow project timelines and ensure quality
- Must have reliable transportation
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site environments with a strong background in residential painting, commercial painting
- Hands-on experience with various hand tools, power tools (such as airless sprayers), paint sprayers (including conventional spraying), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding setups.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting surfaces preparation, spray painting techniques, respiratory protection use, and general site safety protocols.
- Familiarity with caulking, masonry work, fixture installation, handyman tasks, and basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Experience working on diverse renovation projects within residential or commercial settings with a focus on quality craftsmanship and timely completion.
- Carpentry Skills a bonus for jobs requiring wood/drywall replacement.

This position is currently offered as a 1099 contractor. Pay negotiable based on skills and experience.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
