Are you an experienced, formally trained musician with a passion for collaborative music education? We are expanding our programs and looking for an exceptional, multi-talented instructor to join our supportive team.
We are seeking a professional who can lead vocal ensembles and private lessons, and teach dynamic group piano classes.
What We Are Looking For:
- Choral Conducting Experience: Must have experience directing choirs or ensembles to lead our vocal groups.
- Group Piano Instruction: Ability to lead engaging, collaborative small-group piano classes.
- Formal Music Training: Candidates must have a formal background or degree in music (no completely self-taught backgrounds, please).
- 10+ Years of Experience: Deep expertise and a minimum of 10 years dedicated to your primary instrument.
- Bonus Skills: Ability to play and teach multiple instruments (such as guitar or ukulele) is a major plus, as we are looking to expand our programming and have ongoing opportunities for versatile substitute teachers.
Position Details & Compensation:
- Pay Rate: $20 – $50 / hour, varying based on the specific class type, enrollment structure, and your unique teaching credentials.
- Hours: Part-time, primarily focused on afternoon and early evening instructional hours.
