Experienced Orthodontic Assistant – Charlotte, NC
Our established orthodontic office in the Cotswold area of Charlotte, NC is hiring a for multiple Full-Time Orthodontic Assistants with 2+ years of orthodontic experience.
We are seeking a skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistants (DA I or DA II) who is confident in chairside orthodontic procedures and committed to delivering an excellent patient experience in a busy Charlotte orthodontic practice.
Orthodontic Assistant Responsibilities
- Provide chairside orthodontic assisting during braces and clear aligner procedures
- Adjust archwires, change ligatures, and assist with placement/removal of orthodontic appliances
- Take digital scans, impressions, and dental radiographs (Radiography Certified required)
- Deliver patient education on braces care and oral hygiene
- Maintain accurate clinical charting in orthodontic software systems
- Follow OSHA and infection control protocols
- Support efficient patient flow in a high-volume orthodontic office
Orthodontic Assistant Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years Orthodontic Assistant experience (desired)
- Current North Carolina Dental Assistant credentials (DA I or DA II)
- Radiography Certification (Required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
- Experience in a fast-paced orthodontic or dental office
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
