Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist who is reliable, energetic, and patient-focused. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for educating patients about oral health. Experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, team-player attitude, and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, fluoride, sealants and arresting treatments.
- Obtain and review medical and dental histories
- Take digital radiographs and other diagnostic assessments (3D scanner, intra-oral pictures, etc.)
- Perform periodontal charting and oral health assessments
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
- Assist the doctor in identifying and communicating treatment needs
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes and patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA standards
- Support smooth patient flow and schedule efficiency
- Use our PMS (Eaglesoft) for charting, clinical notes, and patient documentation
- Build positive relationships with patients and contribute to an exceptional patient experience
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
- X-ray certification
- Active Florida Dental Hygienist License
- Local Anesthesia Certification
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Fabulous communication and customer service skills; must be a "people" person (REQUIRED)
- Experience with Eaglesoft and Open Dental software preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Compensation & Benefits
- $39-$45 per hour, based on experience and skills
- Full time (4 days a week)
