Education/Experience & Certification: An Ohio Speech Language Pathology Board and Ohio Department of
Education license is required. School experience is preferred.
Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak
effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers,
common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar
graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written
or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
Ability to operate a copier and personal computer, and input grades into a database. To perform this job
successfully an individual should have knowledge of internet browser use for research, and ability to use virtual
meeting tools.

Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands: The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move
up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently able to perform
holds up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision and Peripheral vision.
While performing the duties of their job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or
feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit;
bend; twist; and squat. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or
crawl.
After proper training, assist students with personal health needs and non-medical procedures; position and/or
perform on-person or two-person lift of a child; and perform restraints on students when needed.
