Role Overview:
TGTG supports the Birmingham VA Medical Center by providing HVAC Support services. This team responsible for supporting all aspects of the hospital HVAC Systems.
Responsibilities:
- HVAC Mechanic ? General Commercial
a minimum 5 years continuous documented experience as a journeyman mechanic in commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting and repair. Experience should include large air handlers, ice machines, refrigeration, pumps, air cooled chillers, Liebert systems 5-100 tons, exhaust fans.
a minimum 5 years continuous documented experience as a journeyman HVAC controls mechanic. Training and or certificate from Johnson Controls/Metasys building automation systems. Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair complex building automation systems.
a minimum 7 years continuous documented experience as a journeyman mechanic in industrial HVAC and refrigeration. Experience must include repair and troubleshooting of large centrifugal and reciprocating chillers/compressors 750 tons or larger. Documented experience troubleshooting and repair of large pump and motors 75+ horsepower.
