Title: Software Licensing & Contracts Specialist
Location: Houston, Texas
Type: Contract to Hire (6 Months)
Hourly Rate: $40.00 - $50.00 / Per Hour
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage software licensing, vendor relationships, and procurement activities across the organization. This role will work in a cross-functional environment, balancing vendor management, contract oversight, and operational execution. The position is responsible for coordinating with software vendors and resellers to manage pricing, specifications, and terms, while ensuring all applications are properly licensed and compliant.
Duties:
- Work with software vendors and/or resellers to manage pricing, specifications, terms, and agreements
- Identify and document software and licensing requirements for all applications
- Review and manage existing contracts
- Place orders in coordination with purchasing
- Maintain and manage local software inventories and subscriptions
- Communicate and partner with internal leaders to align software needs with business objectives
Requirements:
- 3+ years of software licensing experience
- Experience handling software licenses with a focus on AutoCAD
- Strong ability to manage vendor relationships and contract oversight
- Knowledge of Autodesk, Bentley, Adobe, and Bluebeam licensing is highly preferred
- Ability to operate effectively in a cross-functional environment
