Reliant Monitoring Services Positions (Part-time)
GPS Installer (Criminal Justice Related)
Compensation: $16.80 an hour
This position installs, services, removes and retrieves electronic monitoring (EM) and GPS devices on adult and juvenile probationers in probationer’s residences or in Department of Public Safety's (Probation-Parole or Juvenile Justice) offices within a specified time frame. Duties are performed within the installer’s county of residence and the immediate surrounding counties. Troubleshooting equipment problems when necessary and maintaining sufficient inventory levels to service specified clients. Cleans and maintains GPS devices worn by probationers. Provides information to Reliant Monitoring Services' management team regarding work performed, problems and concerns, as requested. Training workshops are provided to interested applicants in areas of need. Applicants cannot have been on supervised probation in the past and must pass background and drug screenings. Applicants cannot be a current employee of North Carolina Department of Adult Correction (DAC) or the NC Dept. of Juvenile Justice (DJJ). If you are a former DAC or DJJ employee, you must have left employment on good terms no matter the reason for your departure (resigned, retired etc.) Successful applicant will work in his/her geographic area on an as need basis only. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States, have a valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance. Training is provided. The successful applicant must be available during 8AM-5PM as many of these assignments are conducted at Adult Corrections and Juvenile Justice offices.
