Tucan's Mexican Bar & Grill is looking for a reliable, hardworking Cook to join our growing team. We are a fast-paced, family-friendly restaurant focused on delivering great food and exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with prep work, stocking, and kitchen cleaning
- Work efficiently during busy lunch and dinner rushes
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff
Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable and punctual
- Team-oriented attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Food Handler Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
