- Fill, label, and prepare prescriptions
- Enter prescription orders, insurance claims, and refill requests into the electronic health record while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting patients, answering phones, processing payments, and balancing cash drawers.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory and supplies
- Collaborate with providers and care team members as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bilingual
- BLS Certificate from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Registered with NC Board of Pharmacy as a Technician within 30 days of employment and then annually.
- 340B University for Health Centers Certification (within 90 days)
- Medicare Parts C & D General Compliance Training and Combating Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (within 90 days, and then annually)
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Pharmacy Experience (Will train on the job)
