About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day operations on commercial construction projects. This is a critical field leadership role responsible for jobsite execution, safety, quality, schedule adherence, and delivering outstanding results that exceed client expectations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day field operations from project startup through closeout.
- Champion our core covenants: Decrease Risk, Increase Customer Profitability, and Simplify the Process through proactive leadership on site.
- Enforce rigorous safety standards and lead daily/weekly safety meetings to maintain an incident-free environment.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring optimal sequencing, productivity, and performance.
- Maintain the project schedule and work with the Project Manager to achieve all milestone targets.
- Implement and uphold the quality control plan, conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets or exceeds contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Proactively identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, and potential risks before they impact the project.
- Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment, and temporary facilities.
- Coach, develop, and motivate on-site personnel while building strong team morale.
- Deliver exceptional client, subcontractor, and internal team experiences on the jobsite.
- Maintain accurate daily reports, logs, photos, and documentation.

- Support the use of modern construction technologies and workflows on the jobsite.
- Focus on both big-picture progress and critical field details.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Strong background in commercial construction (ground-up, renovation, or tenant improvement projects preferred).
- Thorough knowledge of construction means and methods, building systems, and sequencing.
- Deep commitment to safety with OSHA training/certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents, blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
- Proven leadership and team-building skills with the ability to develop field personnel.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with construction management software (Procore or similar) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to projects in North & Central Florida as needed.????
